Kellie’s breastfeeding story is one of many turns. Her daughter was born 3 months early and required to be feed by a feeding tube. Kellie pumped for the duration of her NICU stay. After leaving the hospital breastfeeding was still a challenge. After seeing several lactation consultants, using a supplemental nursing system, having a tongue tie corrected, several more months of pumping and seeing a craniosacral Doctor; her daughter was able to feed completely at the breast.
Kellie’s breastfeeding story inspired her to continue her education in lactation and work with moms to reach their feeding goals.
